My bubble just burst
with a loud noise
I was swimming in the vacuum
your love had left me with no choice

I was intoxicated mesmerised
now my eyes have seen the brutal mirror
I was oblivious to it’s existence
but my sanity is no more demure

distanced from your arms
as I take a step back from there
from this vantage point crystal clear
it is that your love for me is scarce

thankful though my heart is
for this insanity ride
beautiful distraction you proved to be
from the strife that is this life

you gave me chills and thrills
the face in the mirror says you were a curse splendor
I look back smirk and convince myself
that atleast quenched is my thirst for adventure
