Rain…it rained here and though I don’t like it much,I do manage to find beauty in it when the leaves on the trees sparkle after a nice wash and sway in the wind splashing water,it reminds me of my childhood when I loved playing in the heavenly showers, now it serves as a prompt I try to write something about.

The first poem was inspired by this song that I love very much, hope you enjoy listening and watching it,please do scroll down for the poems…

rain4
Why does it always rain on me…
because I’m always thinking of you
and thoughts of you bring rain to me…
as if the sky is trying to pacify me
by showering on me the only one thing
that it can gift me
that can actually touch me…
unlike sunshine and moonlight
which are not tangible…
maybe the sky acknowledges my hurt
and wants to show it hurts too…

maybe…

or is it that your skies send clouds to my skies
and by the time they get here
they gather so many sighs
that they feel the need to unburden
themselves…
hence when they reach their destination they
can’t help but rain…

now why does it always rain on me…

rain17
those droplets
of rain
that fall for
the ground on
which you walk…
are stars falling
from the skies
solely to
touch you
