LIGHTMAKERS
the moon is a huge knot entangled between our skies …
my verses and your’s pulling it from either sides …
the knot gets tighter the moon shines brighter …
basking in poetry we write for each other …
the sky appoints clouds to sweep to gather dust
emanating from the words and letters we rub …
it then makes a round ball of that dust and
when we drained from all that expressing lay down our pens
the sky uses that ball as light and to the earth it lends …
the earth that it so loves …
the sun now lights it up …
their love story …
the earth’s nights and days are always
at the mercy of our verses …
for our verses create the sun and the moon …
so write my love … write love

Welcome to my world. I hope you like my work and if you do please leave a comment, my website is self-hosted so the regular like button and some features are missing, until you leave me words I won’t know if you liked my poetry, so please, but only if you are compelled by my words to. Thank you. I hope to see you again, do visit.

P.S. I have told you in one of my recent posts that I will be putting pictures of my art journal(not really great) here along with the posts and so I have here, only poetry is not art enough to me I’ve discovered. I will hopefully get better at this journaling with a little practice and trial and error so please bear with me, thank you.
