Never `So Long’

Never `so long’…not to summer,not to love…

so-long1
When leaves abandon trees
and elope with the winds…
when at the threshold of a monochrome
winter you see yourself standing…
walk backwards in your head and
visit our only summer together…
from sunshine and rainbows of stolen glances
collect warmth and colour…
carry those with you
to get you through till spring…
I’ll be buried right where we left
so when again buds start blossoming…
bring your fragrant presence
to my heart to where you belong…
we’ll start afresh
for there’s never a `so long’…
never `so long’

  1. Naw I don’t believe ya, ya actually hate summer and wish it was always winter, just jokin’ :-))

I can see it now, while shoveling snow, I would just think I was digging a new pond lol Nicely done my dear :-))

    • haha…a pond most likely, tells me you’re not in the clinic anymore…and that should be good right 🙂 all the best Bo…summer is beautiful, autumn is too but that winter is nearing is a dampener 🙂 … thanks a ton for your time and kind words, much appreciated 🙂

  2. No I’m not in the hospital anymore, I’m back home finally and taking care of “Baby Girl” my dog. Somebody had been mistreating her while I was gone, she yelped and was scared of me when I got home. She is just now coming out of it. If I find out who did it, I’m going to do a little beating myself plus my lawn mower got stole. I hate thief’s. :-))

    • That’s so sad Bo,poor thing, your presence now will make a difference to your dog…and i’m happy and relieved that you are finally home,i hope you’ve healed completely, the burn, the skin, you deserve an applause for hanging on and having great faith for such a long and testing time,God loves you…now God willing you’ll live well,i’ll pray for you and please do take care of yourself Bo,God bless you.
